Frequently Asked Questions
Can TPE cords be bonded?
TPE is not as easy to bond as EPDM. For ring joints we recommend thermal welding (heated mirror).
TPE or EPDM for O-ring replacement?
EPDM: better compression set (seals better long-term). TPE: available in colors and thermoplastically processable; food or drinking-water compliance requires a selected, documented compound.
